The RPMASA is proud to announce its second International Conference at the Durban ICC entitled Producer Responsibility for Safe Transport of Chemicals. A value chain approach to protect people and the environment.

Millions of tons of Industrial and Consumer chemicals are transported around the world daily by road, rail, sea and air. Safe transport, energy efficiency, sustainable use of resources and reducing environmental impacts, emissions and footprint are KEY challenges facing Industry today.

The conference will provide a forum for participants from all over the world to meet and exchange ideas, and update on global trends and international legislation in transport of dangerous goods and products. It will help to build capacity in our people those from our neighbouring African countries. Accompanying training sessions will target improving knowledge of key issues for export and local compliance and conditions. It will benefit visitors to see our beautiful country, open up business opportunities and improve knowledge for safer packaging, transport and compliance with the IMDG, IATA and UN model regulations.

The RPMASA, Africa's only industry representative to the UN Committee of Experts for Transport of Dangerous Goods and the GHS (Global Harmonising Systems of Classification and Labelling), invite you to join them in this second landmark event of biennial Conferences in Durban for knowledge sharing, building relationships and improving skills to facilitate safe trade in dangerous goods and products.
